I am very reputable, and I called this young girl's mother, and she stated that she had no idea that her daughter had done this. She states that their puppy is fine, and she will tend to the situation. Below is the post from this 19 year old girl. It was reported to me, but I have no idea how to dispute it. My name is Sheila Connell, owner of Kurly Gorrilla Kennel, and my telephone number is: (406) 494-3181 Has anyone else purchased a Portuguese Water Dog from Kurly Gorillas in Butte, Montana? I attempted to purchase a Portuguese Water Dog from this woman in Butte, Montana. The website looked legitimate and she really seemed to care about her puppies. So I sent my check in the mail. The puppy was supposed to come on a plane from the woman's hometown of Montana to my Florida town about two weeks later. The day before the puppy was about to leave, the woman let it eat some garbage (so she claims) and the puppy got so sick that it had to be taken to the vet where it received multiple IV's. Although this disheartened me, I decided to give the woman another chance to send it to me. It was supposed to come on a plane today, but I received a phone call from the woman claiming that she has overslept and had to put the puppy on a flight another day. It seems to me that this woman is obviously not taking proper care of the puppies and is clearly not a very professional dog breeder. I'm beginning to wonder if the puppy is even coming or if I just wasted $2000 on a puppy that will never arrive. Has anyone else dealt with this woman before?
